Day 3: Wrap up of Harlem Renaissance Students will have a summative assessment due as well on day 3(it will be a small research project on a writer/artist who produced a piece of work during the 20's and was also a member of the Harlem Renaissance)

Day 6: Online group Project: Wikipage:
We put on our page a compare and contrast between Jazz music of the 1920’s and music today and send it to the school newspaper to be published.
Day 7: Overview of Characterization:
Review of what we know: KWL chart.
Anticipation guide for texts given.
Day 8: Characterization of Women During the 1920’s.
We will discuss the motives of the women in the text.
Mini-Lesson on voice threads given.
Assignment given for voice thread in response to the given question in relation to the text.
